Privacy

RigFit collects the minimum information needed to make the product work and improve it over time. This page sets out what is collected, why, and what your choices are. It is written in plain language and aligned with Australian privacy expectations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Account details when you sign in: your email address, optionally a display name and username, and an authentication identifier from your sign-in provider.
• Vehicle profile: the height, label, and type of the rig you choose to save. Used only to power fit search results.
• Search preferences: your saved radius, fit policy, and similar settings, so the app remembers them between sessions.
• Saved spots: the parking assets you bookmark.
• Feedback and submissions: thumbs up / down on results, optional notes, and any new parking locations you submit for review.
• Operational logs: standard request and error logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) used to diagnose issues and prevent abuse.

What we do not collect

• We do not track your live location. Map searches use the location you type or explicitly share via the "Use my location" button, and that location is used only to run the search.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising.

Third parties we rely on

• Supabase handles authentication and stores your account, vehicle profile, saved spots, and contributions.
• Mapbox renders the map and provides geocoding (turning typed locations and dropped pins into addresses).

These providers process data on RigFit's behalf under their own published privacy terms.

Retention and your choices

• Your account data is kept while your account is active.
• You can stop using RigFit at any time. If you want your account and associated data deleted, contact us via the Contact page and we will action it.
• Aggregated, non-identifying data (for example, counts of submissions per region) may be retained for quality and coverage reporting.

Security

Data is sent over TLS in transit. Authentication is delegated to Supabase. We use the minimum credentials required server-side and review access regularly.

Children

RigFit is not directed to children under 13. Please do not create an account if you are under that age.

Changes

This notice will change as RigFit matures. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
