RigFit

Privacy

Privacy matters to RigFit, and it matters to the people who use it. We want to collect and store as little personal information as reasonably possible, and only enough to make the app work properly for the purpose it is intended for.

That means the focus is on practical account and preference information, not unnecessary data collection. If you use RigFit, the goal is to know enough to support your account, preferences, and contribution activity, without building a profile that goes beyond what the service actually needs.

As RigFit grows, we intend to handle personal information in line with applicable Australian privacy obligations, including the principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. That includes being clear about what information is collected, why it is collected, how it is used, and when it may need to be disclosed to service providers that help run the product.

Where possible, RigFit will aim to give users a straightforward way to understand their account information, request corrections, and understand how feedback, submissions, and account details are being used inside the service.

This page will continue to evolve as authentication, user submissions, and deployment are hardened. The intention is simple: collect the minimum necessary, be transparent, and treat user data with care.
